Taco Time Northwest is matching 100% of our restaurant system’s electrical consumption with Pacific Northwest renewable energy.

We’ve made a commitment to the environment and are now matching 100% of our electricity with renewable energy produced right here in the Pacific Northwest through Puget Sound Energy’s Green Power Program.

Along with this renewable energy, we’ve also partnered with the Winston Creek Forest Carbon Project to create an entirely neutral carbon footprint for our restaurants, eliminating over 15.5 million pounds of CO2 each year. That is equivalent to NOT driving nearly 18 million miles!

Using wind, bio and solar energy we are excited to support local renewable energy projects in Washington and Oregon.

“As a local, family-owned company, located in Washington state for 60 years, we believe it is important to sustainably use our region’s natural resources so they’re available for generations to come. Almost a decade ago, we launched an industry leading and nationally recognized composting program. We’re thrilled to take the next significant step in our commitment to preserving the environment by making our restaurants 100% powered by renewable energy and offsetting any natural gas usage with carbon offsets in NW forests.”
