Common Threads Farm

Whatcom County

It takes a village to grow healthy children. Funding from the Taco Time Northwest Foundation allows us to significantly expand our work connecting kids with healthy food in schools. We believe this is a critical strategy since even kids who may not be getting healthy eating messages at home are able to learn healthful food attitudes and behaviors at school.

Tacoma Farmers Market

Pierce County

We are so grateful for Taco Time Northwest Foundations’ investment in our markets. We were able to expand our reach enabling more families to access fresh, local, healthy food and support our local farmers at the same time. Everybody wins: our families, our farms and our communities.

Camp Korey

King County

Funding from the Taco Time Northwest Foundation helped increase our campers’ awareness of healthy food, as well as the benefits of local, sustainable agriculture. Throughout our 4.5-acre certified organic garden, children with serious medical conditions enjoy hands-on learning experiences, fully adapted to their medical needs.

Farmer Frog

Snohomish County

Funding from the Taco Time Northwest Foundation grant will help with salaries for additional urban farmers to provide labor, oversight, leadership and organize the efforts of their volunteers and community partners at school and community gardens.

Mercy Housing
